When Can You Book Disney World Dining Reservations?
Disney World dining reservations generally open 60 days ahead. Disney Resort hotel guests can book an eligible stay of up to 10 nights from arrival day.
01 · The rule
The same 60-day number creates two booking patterns
Disney separates guests with a valid Disney Resort hotel reservation from all other guests. The first group may make reservations for an eligible stay of up to 10 nights beginning 60 days before arrival. Everyone else may reserve dining up to 60 days before the individual dining date.
The length-of-stay benefit does not turn the window into more than 60 days before check-in. It lets the eligible guest reach later dates in the same stay on the check-in booking day, subject to availability.

A 10-night cap is not the same as 10 dining reservations. It describes how much of an eligible hotel stay can be opened from the arrival-date window.
02 · Opening time
New windows appear at approximately 6:00 AM Eastern
Disney says new booking windows become available at approximately 6:00 AM each day for select Walt Disney World restaurants. “Approximately” matters: it is Disney’s stated timing, not a promise that every restaurant or every date will release inventory at an identical second.
Most table-service restaurants across the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, Disney Springs, and the Walt Disney World Swan, Swan Reserve and Dolphin Hotels accept reservations. Availability is restaurant- and date-specific.
- Use Eastern Time when interpreting Disney’s stated opening time.
- Confirm that the Disney Resort hotel reservation is linked before relying on the stay window.
- Include every guest, regardless of age, in the dining party count.
- Treat the 60-day window as access to available inventory, not a guarantee of a table.
03 · Park dining
A dining reservation does not include theme park entry
For an in-park table-service restaurant, Disney says every guest age 3 or older needs valid admission for that same park and date. A theme park reservation may also be required, depending on the admission type and visit date.
A confirmed restaurant reservation does not guarantee entry to the park. Park Hopper availability can also change, so an in-park meal should not be treated as an exception to admission, reservation, or capacity rules.
Reserve the meal and verify park entry separately. They are two different requirements.
04 · Rule boundaries
Keep the published window precise
Disney describes the rule as “up to” 60 days and says the approximately 6:00 AM release applies to select restaurants. Those qualifiers leave room for experiences with different booking behavior, delayed inventory, closures, or no availability.
- The Disney Resort benefit requires a valid hotel reservation.
- The stay-wide window is capped at a stay of up to 10 nights.
- Other guests reach each date separately at 60 days.
- Guests cannot book one dining reservation within two hours of another reservation.
- Disney can make newly introduced dining experiences or events available on their own release schedule.
The rule answers when a guest may search and book. It does not promise that a particular restaurant, time, or party size will be available.
