Disney World Stroller Rules and Rental Prices
Personal strollers must fit Disney’s 31-by-52-inch limit and stroller wagons are prohibited. Compare current single and double rental prices and rules.
01 · Personal strollers
Stay at or below 31 inches wide by 52 inches long
Disney prohibits strollers greater than 31 inches in width and 52 inches in length. The rules also prohibit stroller wagons, regardless of whether a particular model is pushed rather than pulled.
Wagons are separately prohibited at every theme park and water park. Disney also prohibits any trailer-like object pushed, pulled or towed by a stroller, wheelchair, mobility device or person.
| Equipment | Current rule |
|---|---|
| Stroller up to 31 inches wide and 52 inches long | Within the published maximum dimensions |
| Stroller larger than either maximum | Prohibited |
| Stroller wagon | Prohibited |
| Wagon | Prohibited in theme parks and water parks |
| Trailer-like attachment | Prohibited |
A stroller can satisfy the width rule and still fail the length rule. Check both measurements.
02 · Rental prices
Disney rents single and double strollers
Disney lists stroller rentals at its theme parks and Disney Springs. The single stroller is recommended for a child weighing 50 pounds or less. Disney lists a 100-pound-or-less recommendation for the double stroller.
| Rental | Daily price | Multi-day price | Published recommendation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single stroller | $15 | $13 per day | Child 50 pounds or less |
| Double stroller | $31 | $27 per day | Disney lists 100 pounds or less |
A $100 credit-card deposit is required for strollers rented at Disney Springs.
03 · Multi-day rentals
Prepay the days, then collect a stroller inside each park
For a length-of-stay rental, Disney says to prepay the number of rental days. On each theme park visit, show the rental receipt at the rental location to receive a stroller for that day.
The multi-day amount is a lower per-day price, not one stroller that remains with the guest throughout the vacation. Disney-operated park strollers must be returned before leaving the park.
- Keep the rental receipt available for every prepaid day.
- Collect the stroller at a theme park rental location each day.
- Return it to a rental location before leaving that park.
- Do not expect to take a Disney park stroller onto transportation or back to a hotel.
04 · Park changes
Use the receipt to replace the stroller after a same-day hop
Because rental strollers cannot be removed from the parks, a guest visiting more than one park in the same day must return the first stroller and present the receipt at the next park to obtain a replacement. Disney says replacement is also available if a stroller is misplaced, based on availability.
Rental locations are listed at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs. The Disney Springs deposit rule is specific to that location and does not change the park return requirement.
- Return the stroller before exiting the first park.
- Carry the receipt to the next park’s rental location.
- Replacement strollers are subject to availability.
- Recheck Disney’s rental page for current prices and locations before the visit.
The receipt can carry the rental entitlement between parks; the physical Disney stroller cannot.
