Early Entry vs Extended Evening Hours at Disney World
Compare Disney World Early Entry with Extended Evening Hours: timing, parks, eligible hotels, admission requirements and current 2027 continuation.

Early Entry is broad and daily; Extended Evening Hours is selective
The two benefits both add time in a theme park, but they use different eligibility and schedules. Early Entry has a fixed 30-minute length, operates at all 4 theme parks each day and includes many partner hotels. Extended Evening Hours uses the specific times in Disney’s Hours & Events Calendar and is limited to select parks and nights.
Disney says both benefits will continue through 2027. That continuation does not lock in an individual date, park, attraction list or operating time; those details remain subject to change and capacity.

02 · Hotel eligibility
Value and Moderate Resorts get Early Entry, not Extended Evening Hours
Disney’s Early Entry list includes its Value, Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villa properties, plus the Campsites at Fort Wilderness and numerous named partner hotels. The Extended Evening list contains Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts and only four other named hotels.
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness require special care: Disney says Extended Evening Hours applies to the Disney Vacation Club Cabins only. The Campsites appear on the Early Entry list but not on the Extended Evening list.

A hotel can qualify for Early Entry without qualifying for Extended Evening Hours. Verify the two official lists separately.
03 · Entry requirements
A hotel benefit does not replace valid theme park admission
For Early Entry, Disney requires valid theme park admission and a MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass or Key to the World Card. Theme park reservations may also be required, depending on the admission type. The Extended Evening page lists the same admission and identification methods and carries the same admission-type caveat.
A guest using a Park Hopper ticket that requires a first-park reservation must enter the reserved park before visiting another park. Eligibility for extra time does not override that first-entry condition, pass blockout dates, park capacity or the destination park’s operating schedule.
- Confirm that every guest has valid admission for the park being visited.
- Check whether the admission type requires a theme park reservation.
- Bring the linked MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass or Key to the World Card used to verify eligibility.
- Review the hotel dates carefully; Early Entry explicitly includes check-in and check-out days.
- Recheck Disney’s current hotel lists if the reservation changes properties.
The room creates eligibility for extra operating time. It does not include or guarantee admission to the park.
04 · What is open
Only select attractions, shops and dining locations participate
Disney publishes a planned attraction list for Early Entry and a separate scheduled list for Extended Evening Hours. Those lists are not identical. Select merchandise and food-and-beverage locations may also operate, but the rest of the park should not be assumed open merely because the benefit is running.
Disney says attraction availability, event days, parks and operating times can change without notice. An attraction may also be unavailable because of an unplanned closure or a longer refurbishment, so the official page and My Disney Experience app are the final checks close to the visit.
